Athens gives a wide-open design style with a clarity of style, function and usability. With top-layered navigation, it is ideal for wide-format images and longer captions.

All SiteWelder layouts give you the option of regular HTML display or Flash slide show display for your galleries. HTML image display looks similar to Flash slide shows with Athens, so your choice of HTML or Flash slide shows is more of a preference than one of function.

With this demo of Athens, we have grouped the galleries into different portfolio sections: "ON ASSIGNMENT," "PEOPLE," and "OUTSIDE." Clicking on one of the portfolio section names expands the navigational menu to show the individual gallery names below the top categories.

We've sized the images for this Athens demo to be a maximum of 900 pixels wide and 600 pixels high. As with all SiteWelder sites, you can set your own image size. These images display larger and might be more appropriate for larger monitors.

If you use our PayPal shopping cart option, a "Purchase Info" button will display next to the large versions of your images. Clicking on the button will give the full selling options you have set up for each image you want to sell.

Finally, we're using Yanone Kaffesatz, a Google Web Font option, for the navigation links, text and logo. The home page logo is set at 36 px, the inside pages logo at 24 px and the navigational links at 18 px. This text is displaying at 20 px, with a custom line height of +2.
